Blog names are often very creative and unique. How did you come up with yours?
Basically, I am very close to a few girls and we call ourselves "The Babes". We enjoy each others company and the simple things. Wine nights, going out, good girl talks etc. So whenever we would try to meet up we would say lets have a "sesh" as in "session" of hanging out. I wanted to create a blog that all girls can relate too. Posts that they would talk about with their own friends.

Explain your blog for someone who has never seen it before.

Babe sesh covers topics about anything most girls can relate or like to talk about. Covering topics about fashion trends gone wrong to images that inspire me as an individual especially as a woman. Whether it is a photo of a beautiful girl with big wavy hair and bright red lips to photo's of Wild Fox Couture's latest lookbook collection.

What made you start blogging? How did it all start?

Well, since I was young I always kept a journal by my side. I loved writing things that inspired me and things that I thought were significant in my daily life. Many of my friends always told me I should start a blog since I love fashion and writing so I thought I would give it a try. I always love a good read so I wanted to provide that to others that felt the same way.

How would you describe your sense of style? Who / what do you look to for inspiration?

I feel that my sense of style constantly changes. Since fashion trends change I feel that my style changes up a little every now and then. I love classic pieces and mixing it with a little something new. When it comes to inspiration I think the majority comes from street style. I like looking at individuals and seeing how they put certain pieces together. From contemporary to grunge it is all an inspiration to me. As long as I feel confident and feel just right I know I have accomplished an outfit.

Three things you currently can't live without AND three things you are itching to have but are currently living without!?

First thing are my Jeffrey Campbell black wedges, my dark denim levis, and my vintage top from my boyfriends dad's old band from Cali back in the mid 80's. These three things I can either wear out shopping during the day or out for drinks with my girl friends. I feel comfortable and sexy. The three things I am itching and am in need in my wardrobe are: a pair of Prada sunglasses (baroque from Summer 2011 collection), an all black leather jacket, and a ring from Bijules NYC rock collection. These 3 "needs" need to be in my wardrobe in the future.

About 6 months ago I was asked by the team of Milk + Syrup, a well known blog in Columbus, Ohio to write for their women's section. It is a group of talented guys that are music artists, Dj's, photographers, and just inspired by traveling and fashion. We cover a variety of topics that people enjoy to read and even promote really great events that happen in Ohio.

Are there any future projects/events for Milk + Syrup and Babe Sesh?

As of right now we are working on doing a collab with the two. Basically when I write for MnS I incorporate a lot of my Babe Sesh style to my posts.

When and what made you start your own blog?
2 years ago. It was during my first internship. All my research was done on magazines and blogs, I started to collect a huge amount of images on my computer and cramming up my agenda with magazine scraps, designer references and trend notes, I desperately needed a new place to put them all. Then I stumbled across Style Bubble, her blog was so balanced between her personal style and style notes that it inspired me to create my little corner in the web about me and my likings.

Explain your blog for someone who has never visited it before.
It is a little hole in the blogsphere where my rabbit and I show off and document our colorful outfits, creations and my daily life as a creative in the city of Milan. You can find a vast range of images of all the vintage markets I go to, things I see around the city or during my travels, anything that catches my eye on fashion,music, design, art or photography.

How would you explain your own sense of style?
I am everything but minimal, the contrary, quite excessive and loud this also being because of my Latin background and to add to that I am also a vintage maniac. It comes from my scavenger hunts in my grandmother and mother's closets where pieces of the 70's, 80's and early 90's use to prance around, so colorful quirky prints, silk blouses, pleated skirts, high waisted pants and shoulder pads became key pieces in my wardrobe, complimented by large amounts of self made and ethnic jewellery. But mostly the 80's is what I truly identify with and clearly you can see it on every inch of my body and personality.

What is currently inspiring you?
The Jane Fonda workout videos, I am in the mood of tonning up and the mix of the background trashy tunes and all that bright spandex pumps me up! I have also been quite obsessed with leather after re watching a while ago Blade Runner and Olivia Newton John in Grease , since i have been bumping into it everywhere. I have created a little collection helping me to add a stronger touch to my look. And last but not least, the Burberry Men and Womans F/W10 collections. The brand just keeps renewing itself and at the same time making a strong heritage statement. Those jackets and coats are to die for they definitely will be the key pieces of the season.

Do you have a favorite blog post(s) or subject(s) to post about?
I actually don't have a favorite post or topic. There are some posts of some of my outfits that I have spontaneously shot at 3am with insomnia that I really enjoyed, other than that, I like the posts that create feedback. I like to get a reaction, good or bad.

My blog is basically just an outlet for my own guilty pleasures. It just so happens that one of my biggest guilty pleasures is fashion so that encompasses a large portion of my blog, but I also have food, lifestyle and some interiors.

Originally my blog was just called "Guilty Pleasures", but as it evolved I realized it was more just an extension of me so I changed it to Amanda Lorena. Obviously Lorena is Italian for Lauren (my actual middle name) but this name was just another way of showing what sets me apart from your average Joe.

How and what made you start blogging ?

My blog is still a relatively new work in progress. I really just started because there are so many visual outlets on the internet nowadays I really just wanted to have my own to share my own interests. What really got me into it is the chance to connect with other bloggers and writers, which is what I do in my occasional "Blogger Spotlight." As my blog evolves I hope it to be solely interviews -- something like Into the Gloss, but with a different topic. In which, case it would be a little less about me and more about other people.

What is your mission for your blog? What do you hope to teach/show your viewers?

I want my readers to gain some type of new appreciation for their own addictions. If you are an Accountant secretly simultaneously obsessed with Alexander McQueen and Jersey Shore then I want you to embrace that! It's all about loosing the actual guilt associated with your pleasures.

I am a student. I am hoping to find a job in the editorial business at a lifestyle or fashion magazine. This summer I am working with O Magazine.

Jenny Park is a professional food stylist and recipe developer, and Teri Lyn Fisher is a professional photographer.

How did the blog come about? Was there one of you in particular that loves food or cooking? and how did it all come about?
The blog is something we had discussed a lot together in passing. We would test shoot a lot together to produce images we both wanted in our books, so we thought it would be more fun to share those images and recipes with more people. Going into professional ventures with your peers can be difficult, but we knew that we could do this together and do it well. We're both strong minded individuals with similar styles who each have our specific roles within the partnership; there are no stepping on toes, no feeling overshadowed by the other, yet we totally respect each other's opinions and strive to make everything a 100% collaborative effort. When we dove into this project we knew that one thing was a must for us: to create a blog with more of a magazine feel through photography, styling, consistent content, and graphic design.

Blog names are for the most part unique...how did you come up with yours?
We threw around a lot of ideas. It was actually something that took quite a while. We knew we wanted something a bit weird, and possibly to do with bacon because we both really love it.

Where does inspiration for your cooking come from?
The inspiration for the food we cook and recipes we create stem from our everyday lives. We're constantly on the search for great food, innovative dishes and fresh produce. Farmers market finds are a huge for us and something that is integrated into our daily lives. We like trying to think out of the box, whether they end up successes or fails, and don't like limiting ourselves to only one genre of cooking.

A dish you think everyone should know how to make?
Risotto. It's just such a versatile and comforting dish that is much easier to make than some may think.

Fall has basically just arrived, what should we make to warm up the house?

Anything with pumpkin....and cinnamon. It just seems like the right thing to do.

It is basically a place where I post everything that inspires me, it is really a creative outlet of mine. My posts range from pictures of my outfits, fashion shows that I link, personal holiday pictures to random fashion inspiration that I collect all over and put together in a way that is beautiful to me.

My second name is cindy and so I came to think of cinderella. I like it despite the kitchy sound of it and disney reference. Fashion to me is imagining and escaping into a world where one can express oneself freely and anything is possible. Cinderella reminds me of fairy tales and dressing up - and esentially that's what the blog is to me. A place where I can share my fashion adventures and where I can be anyone I want.

How and what made you start blogging?
I first discovered fashion blogs in 2006 and loved the idea of seeing what people around the world are wearing. Seeing how other people play with trends, styles and high street fashion, really gave me the confidence to develop my own style and to wear what I feel most comfortable with. I then started my own blog 2007 as a way to express my inspirations and to share my outfits. I am still really enjoying it even though I don't have time to post as frequently as I used to anymore due to my studies.

What would you say the mission for your blog is? What do you hope to teach/show your viewers?
I don't aim to change anything with my blog. To be honest my blog is mainly for me, so I don't blog with the reader directly in mind. Of course I try to make the posts appealing and interesting but first of all it has be "me". However, I do hope that people that visit my blog get inspried to wear what they like.

I am a full time student studying international management and will move to Japan in September for a study year abroad. Needless to say I am beyond thrilled for this adventure and can't wait for it to start.

Something finally caught my eye in Milan, Gabriele Colangelo...while the actual pieces aren't so innovative I guess it is something about these innovative fabrics and splashes of color that make this collection stand out.
