This morning at 11.30 during a press conference, Michael Nyman presented the world premiere screening of his video " the cleaners wear Prada", at Palazzo Morando in Milan, showing to cleaners polishing Prada's window...The press conference has been organized in order to present Diane Pernet's project that will bring a shaded view on fashion film festival in Milan, from the 25th till the 30th of May.
A shaded view on fashion film festival is the first traveling review which explore the intersections between fashion and cinema, established by Diane Pernet journalist and cutting edge blogger.
Festival's protagonists will be videos and short films, made by visionary photographers and directors like Nick Knight, Erwin Olaf, Chris Cunningham, Steven Klein; cutting edge designer like Undercover, Hussein Chalayan, Rick Owens, Mr. Pearl, Rodarte, Coming Soon/Yohji Yamamoto, Gareth Pugh and Thom Browne. For the Italian stage has been created a new series of short films dedicate to the light theme and a special video direct by Angelo Teardo inspired by surrealistic and baroque patterns crteated by Leitmotiv.
