Head Chef and Owner Grant Achatz of Alinea Restarant in Chicago, IL wanted to create flavors and combinations that were out of this world and that he did. Alinea is a restaurant based on the concept that food can be prepared in different and innovative ways by barely using a stove or oven while doing this. From the presentation of the plates to the exterior of the restaurant, to the way the food is prepared...this restaurant is by far the most minimal and contemporary I have ever heard of.
